Dr. Vassiki Sanogo has a courtesy appointment at the Center for Economic Forecasting and Analysis (CEFA) at Florida State University (FSU). He received his doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, Nice, France. His research interests are in the areas of environmental economics, health economics, energy economics, cost-effective analysis, economic development, international finance, and econometrics.  Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University Alassane Ouattara, Bouake, in Côte d’Ivoire, teaching various economics courses including: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Econometrics.  He also conducted research on the environmental assessment of the bay of Cocody, Abidjan.  In addition, he has accumulated research experience with research centers CIRES (Centre Ivoirien de Recherches Economiques et Sociales) and CIAPOL (Centre Ivoirien Anti-Pollution) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. At FSU, he is currently interested in the economic evaluation of energy use in Florida.
