Carlos Andres Proano

Carlos Andres Proano has a BA in Finance and Economics from Quito, Ecuador. For two years, he was the biweekly columnist for the economics section of a national newspaper, Diario Hoy. He also worked for two years with an industry research company writing economic reports to a target audience of business owners. In 2003, he worked for the Central Bank of Ecuador as a junior economic analyst. After being awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2003, he applied and was accepted to the master's program in Financial Mathematics at Florida State University. While at CEFA, his projects included linear programming modeling and statistical analysis related to university research.
