Michael Garcia is a graduate of Emory University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. He currently serves as a Research Associate at the Florida Department of Commerce, where he specializes in analyzing employment and wage data from employers across the state of Florida using SQL and R. He is also currently a Researcher at the Center for Economic Forecasting and Analysis (CEFA) where he contributes to data-driven policy analysis. He plans to pursue a PhD in economics with a focus on macroeconomics, econometrics, and political economy.
