Yuki Takatsuka
Dr. Yuki Takatsuka is a research faculty of the Center for Economics Forecasting and Analysis (CEFA) at the Florida State University (FSU). She has received her doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research interests are in the areas of environmental economics, economic policy analysis, and economic development, focusing on non-market valuation, cost-benefit analysis, and survey analysis. Previously she was an Assistant Professor at Temple University, Japan Campus, in Tokyo teaching various economics courses including Energy, Ecology, and Economy and International Trade. She also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Lincoln University in New Zealand and conducted research on environmental valuation of ecosystem services on agricultural lands. In addition, she has research experience in the Industry Ecology group at the University of California at Irvine and teaching experiences at the California State University at Fullerton. At FSU, she has taught Japanese Economy and Environment and is currently interested in research on analysis of economic values of water use in the South Florida and consumer behaviors in relationship to organic agricultural products.
