Matilda Varine is a Kaul Fellow and student in the Master’s in Applied Economics Program at Florida State University. In May 2025, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She hopes to utilize her academic background to work in development economics, with a particular interest in how tourism can drive economic growth.
